Red Roof Inn Tulare - Downtown/ Fairgrounds

We are on a road trip across the country.. and on our way home when we stopped to stay here! We have slept in 20 different motels all over the U.S, and this one was the BEST YET! Very clean, new, spacious, smelled good, had everything we needed! Updated & cute! We love it! The lady at the desk was awesome and friendly! I highly recommend! Very nice place!

I've stayed at this facility with the previous owners which was a trying experience horrible customer service horrible housekeeping drugs Etc the new owners at first seemed like it was going to be an issue just with the attitude that they brought to the table however a year later I went back in safe and it's actually quite nice they remodeled rooms they've taken out old yucky carpet and put in wood floors and this is on the third floor smoking little they also seem to have upgraded their Electronics the TV they could use some new microwaves in the room however the frigerators worked perfectly it was clean we did see a couple cockroaches and when I say a couple I seriously mean just a couple very clean and the customer service has gone through the roof excellent people excellent customer service. One thing I remember is that the older guy that works the night shift graveyard I don't remember her being friendly at all this time around it shows what good management must be doing for her because she was nothing but Pleasant very sweet very nice very attentive very helpful I really really enjoyed her. Thank you Red Roof for upgrading this Motel and making it a better place to stay in Tulare California..BRAVO

You can find a coupon at the local Denny's for discount price which makes it cheaper than the Motel 6 near by. Kind staff. They will work with you on weekly rates. Rooms are a decent size. Still use the box tv's. Pool could use a cleaning. No night maintenance. Overall a decent place for a decent price.

King size room was plush for around $60 a night. Newly renovated as you can tell. New management is working on getting the place to his standards. Good place to bring kids, if you have pets or just to chill. Also third floor has smoking rooms that are available if you wanted to party and chill. The new owner is amazing and willing to accommodate you as much as possible. Thank you. Will keep this place in mind as we travel.

When I checked in, I was pleased to notice the clean lobby and a friendly guy at the desk. I was checked in quickly, to a 2nd floor room with two beds. It was hot and muggy that day, so what a relief to find the air conditioning left on for me! The beds were clean, with good bedding and pillows. The fridge and microwave were in working order, as well as the TV (with plenty of channels). Finally, the bathroom was very clean. It was a pleasantly surprising stay, seeing how negative some people are about the place.

I had read the other reviews about this establishment, and after staying the night, it's clear that you get what you pay for. I paid less than 60 dollars and stayed in a decent room for that price. I will note that it is located within walking distance of various food places. Also, both receptionists that I spoke with were very nice and helpful. I actually forgot an item in the room when I checked out. When I returned to the hotel to get it, they had it nicely wrapped in a bag for me, which was much appreciated. If I'm ever in Tulare again, I will probably stay here again.

The hotel was clean, the cleaning staff were really nice and attentive. I was disappointed I would be charged through my reservation so I wont make a regular reservation. There is a lot of night time activity in the back I dont think they were aware of. The rooms were clean quiet.

I have visited this hotel many times in the past and have been amazed recently each time I visit by the beautiful remodeling job being done. Each visit gets better. The rooms are like new, the grounds are well lite and safe, the staff is informed and helpful and price is typically low. I positively recommend this hotel for a 5 star stay at one star prices.
